Children in migration experience serious violation of their rights. Advocating for their rights across Europe is urgent and challenging. This website is a tool to support your advocacy, whether at national or European level. It aims to help bring together stakeholders from different interests or backgrounds (including child rights organisations, migration organisations, human rights organisations, youth networks, social welfare organisations).
It is developed by the Initiative for Children in Migration, an informal collaboration among NGOs and IGOs who are involved in coordinated advocacy on EU law and policy impacting children in migration. The initiative encourages the European and national institutions to fulfil the rights and protection of all children in migration.
This website helps you identify what EU policies and law are relevant and what measures are under development.
On some specific issues, the collaboration develops shared recommendations on policy and practice.
This website is coordinated on behalf of the Initiative by Child Circle, Missing Children Europe, PICUM and Terre des Hommes, alongside others leading the development of resources on specific issues.
The website is supported by the European Programme for Integration and Migration (EPIM) and the H&M Foundation.
